About this GTA 6 wiki

This is a fan-run wiki about Grand Theft Auto VI — a game that has not come out yet. That second half shapes everything else on the site.

Most of what is written about an unreleased Rockstar game is guesswork, and the guesswork travels further than the facts. A screenshot from an unrelated game gets captioned as a leak, a job listing becomes a feature announcement, and a date someone hoped for becomes a date people quote. None of it is malicious. It just compounds, and by the time a game ships there is more written about the version people imagined than about the one Rockstar described.

The rule this site runs on

Every claim traces to something Rockstar published

Each character, location and news entry carries a source link to the Rockstar page, trailer or Newswire post the claim came from, and that link is part of the entry rather than a footnote. If a claim has no source it does not go in. That is the whole editorial policy, and it is deliberately a short one.

Detail and mention are different claims

A character Rockstar has written a full bio for and a character whose name appeared once on screen are not equally known, and flattening the two is how a wiki quietly becomes fiction. Every character and location page states which it is, and the pages say plainly where Rockstar has said nothing at all.

What this site is not

Not Rockstar, and not connected to it

This is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive, and nothing here should be read as an announcement. The official sources are Rockstar’s GTA VI page and the Newswire; where this site and those disagree, they are right.

Not a leaks site

Leaked material is not published here, and neither are the claims built on top of it. That is partly a decision about what this site is for and partly a practical one: a leak cannot be checked against a source, so there is no honest way to present it under the rule above.

Not a person or a company you need to know about

One fan runs it. There is no team, no publisher and no commercial arrangement behind it, and that is worth saying only because it explains the pace — things get added when there is something sourced to add.

When it is wrong

Corrections are welcome and get made

A pre-release wiki is wrong in two ways: it carries a mistake, or it carries something that was true and stopped being true when Rockstar changed it. Both happen. If you find either, say so — a source link makes it much faster to fix.

Where a page has been revised, the revision date is shown on it. Dates are not quietly backfilled to make an old page look new.
